I'm running for City Council to put people first in Ward Nine

I’m a proud renter, climate advocate, and I work to keep homes and businesses safe. Councillor Jonathan Paz is running for Mayor and I’m excited to work with him as your next Ward 9 City Councillor.

I will fight for affordable rents, pathways to homeownership, and a thriving local business community on Moody Street and beyond. I will work to improve the quality of life for South Side residents by building climate resilience, enhancing parks and green open spaces, and creating good-paying jobs. I will prioritize public safety, from violent crime, to pedestrian and cyclist safety. I will prioritize you, not Boston developers that the political elites have allowed to buy up our community and displace our neighbors.

I’m not a career politician, and I am not beholden to special interests. I will be accessible and accountable to you and will always put people first. I humbly ask for your vote November 7th.

Eamon is thrilled to have earned the endorsement of the Greater Boston Labor Council. Union jobs are one of the best paths forward for a high quality of life. During the endorsement process I met with pipefitters, teachers, grad students, and many more to learn about the challenges facing organized labor in our city.

Livelihood does not end when you clock out for the day and working class families need affordable, stable housing. They need child care that fits with their budget and schedule. They need to know that their elected leaders have their backs when they start the negotiation process for new contracts or pursue unionizing their workplace. I'm thrilled to receive GBLC's endorsement as a resource in the fight for working class dignity.

Eamon is thrilled to have received the endorsement of SEIU509. I’ve gotten to know their involvement with institutions like Brandeis as well as other care worker and education organizations in Waltham and across the state. It’s great to have a partner whose vision includes equity and justice for marginalized communities, a healthy environment, and having our seniors age with dignity. These are problems that cannot be solved by only one group and being in solidarity with SEIU 509 brings Ward Nine that much closer to addressing these problems facing our community.
