About Eamon

Growing up north of Boston, Eamon has been involved in local government since his mother took him to the polls everytime she voted. With two parents as teachers, he watched School Committee with them twice a month. He was an avid viewer of Town Meeting and coordinated with the Select Board when carrying out his Eagle Scout project.

One time he wished he wasn’t involved was when a classmate was struck and killed by a driver in front of his house. He went to the meeting where safety improvements were discussed, but nothing was implemented. Eamon is deeply upset by our collective apathy and inaction around traffic violence.

In 2016 Eamon got a job in Waltham and an apartment on the South Side where he’s been ever since. Working in cybersecurity, Eamon searches for proactive solutions while thinking about systemic problems. Around Waltham he organizes for safe streets, runs with the Waltham Trail Runners, and is always on the lookout for the next Land Trust work party.

When he’s not running for office, Eamon bikes around the country, cooks vegetarian meals, and plans cute dates for his girlfriend.
